Unic, seven tales of the italian leather

 

Editorial project focused on the storytelling of seven tales regarding the Italian leather tannery Unic Concerie Italiane. For every chapter, a specific phrase has been chosen with a strong and loud statement as Italian leather is emotion, natural, clean, safe, valuable, ethic and innovative. These 7 keywords were selected to show the different aspects of sustainability in this field supported by detailed data visualizations. Every opener has also a different illo, with one fixed part and one part always changing and developing. The color palette and textures are always different: they create a joyful and yet elegant style in the book.

The cover instead is the combination of all the main elements of every charpter's illo with the use of light and dark blue. These are the typical colors of the leather when is treated in during tannery process. Also data and the life cycle of the leather are detailed expressed with simple patterned infographics and illustrated process scheme.
